Flood risk management website
Devon County Council is the Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) as defined by the Flood and Water Management Act 2010. This legislation was designed to improve the way we tackle the risk of flooding across England and Wales following the large summer floods of 2007.
The Flood and Coastal Risk Management Team take a hybrid approach to working, with team members splitting their time between County Hall and working from home. Team members can undertake site visits, as well as conducting meetings via video conferencing.
