Join us as we celebrate 30 years since the Tamar Valley was designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and look ahead to the next chapter in protecting our remarkable landscape.

Together weโ€™ll reflect on key achievements โ€“ from the Heralds of Spring and Calstock Wetlands to Helping Hands for Heritage, Kit Hill Nature Park and the Tamara Scheme โ€“ and explore exciting new initiatives for nature, climate, place and people.

Following this, the afternoon will include inspiring talks from:

  • Lord Robin Teverson, Chair of the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Local Nature Partnership
  • Rob Price, Environment Agency - Tamar Catchment Partnership
  • Rebecca Hunt, National Landscapes Association - Green Finance and Social Value
  • Elaine Hayes, Plymouth Sound National Marine Park โ€“ Upstream Thinking and Holistic Approaches
  • Sally Weston, Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape Partnership World Heritage Site โ€“ 20 Years of Impact
  • Followed by the presentation of our Valley Champions Awards, celebrating those who go above and beyond for the Tamar Valley

Tea, coffee and celebratory cake will be served from 12:30pm.
